TT VIP Terms and Conditions
Where payment terms are given, payment is due strictly within 14 days from the date of invoice. The DED and its agents reserve the right to cancel bookings, without refund or with cancellation fees as detailed below, where the payment terms are not met. Bookings will only be confirmed upon clearance of payment.
CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS AND RESALE
The DED shall be entitled to charge the total value of the package ordered in the event of a cancellation. Tickets are not for resale. In the event of a reduction in guest numbers ticket transfers to an alternative guest may be made subject to notification of the amended guest name.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
An acknowledgement letter will be posted out to you following a confirmed booking. A receipted VAT invoice will be issued if requested.
For UK/IOM bookings, all admission tickets and car park passes will be sent out by post within 4 weeks of the event. For International orders, tickets are passes will be held at the VIP Hospitality Suite for collection on the day to avoid postal delays. The TT gift pack will be issued to each ticket holder on arrival at the TT VIP Hospitality Suite.
Tickets and passes will be dispatched by 'signed for' delivery. It is highly recommended that you dispatch your tickets to your guests by 'signed for' delivery. The DED cannot accept responsibility for any tickets or car park passes once they have been dispatched. Payment
must be made for any replacement tickets or car park passes lost in transit. If you book tickets for yourself and guests please make your guests aware that their ticket is subject to these Terms and Conditions. The ticket remains the property of the DED. Please keep the ticket(s) safe and in a good condition as a duplicate ticket will not be issued if it is lost or stolen and a defaced ticket may become invalidated.
Children (aged 14 to 17 years) are permitted in the VIP Hospitality Suite with a 20% discount on the ticket price.
The VIP Hospitality Suite opens at 9am and closes at 5pm on each day.
Smart casual wear is required in the TT VIP Hospitality Suite. We would encourage those arriving by bike not to wear leathers in the Suite.
The TT VIP Hospitality Suite is a non smoking area. Please note that this includes the enclosed fenced area.
Please advise of any special dietary requirements and our caterers will use their best endeavours to meet your requests. As the service provided is for full refreshments and meals our caterer has the sole rights for the provision of food and liquor within the Suite and therefore no items of this nature may be brought into the hospitality area, including the enclosed fenced area. Wherever possible dietary requirements will be met subject to at least 72 hours notice being provided to the DED.
Please note that the complimentary bar will open at 11.00am and close at 4.45pm on each day. A Licensee will be on the premises at all times and the Licensee has the right to refuse service, without reason. Please note that the complimentary bar consists of beer, wine and soft drinks.
Reasonable behaviour is required at all times. The use of abusive or dangerous behaviour or any behaviour likely to cause offence will reach our Terms and Conditions and may result in ejection from the VIP Hospitality Suite. No refund or compensation will be payable to the ticket holder in such circumstances.
You may not affix or display or permit to be affixed or displayed anything whatsoever outside the facility, or visible from outside the facility.
The use of photographic equipment is allowed for private domestic purposes only. All other recording and any transmission is prohibited including (without limitation) recording of any data information or results of or relating to the event and any participant. As a condition of entry to the event you assign (by way of a present assignment of future copyright) the copyright of any photographs or recordings you make at the
event to the DED.
No unauthorised trading is permitted within the venue or any official car parking facility.
RACE CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
Please note that bookings are made for the races on a particular day. The DED reserves the right to amend the format of the hospitality being offered. Should all racing and track activity on the date of your hospitality booking be delayed, postponed to the following day (due to weather or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the DED or its agents/ suppliers) or cancelled, the TT VIP Hospitality Suite will remain open on the scheduled day and a full days hospitality will be provided along with entertainment in the form of rider appearances and
chat shows. The DED will use their best endeavours to minimise the impact of such changes to guests. Please note that should races be delayed during the day to exceed 5pm when the VIP Hospitality Suite closes, guests will be permitted to watch the duration of the race however the bar will close at the usual time of 4.45pm, and the VIP Hospitality Suite will close immediately following the end of the race.
Whilst every effor t will be made to present the packages as described, we reserve the right to alter where necessary the details of the packages whilst maintaining the value of any packages so affected. We reserve the right to withdraw this hospitality offer from sale at any time.
MOTOR SPORT REGULATIONS
WARNING Motor sport can be dangerous. Despite the DED taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen. In respect of this, you and all other patrons are present at your own risk. No animals, except guide dogs, are admitted to any part of the site, including the car parks. Rights to refuse admission are reserved. You shall not do or permit anything to be done which may be or become a nuisance or annoyance to the DED, its Authorised Agents, other patrons or members of the public. In the interests of public safety the DED reserves the right to request you to leave the venue at any time for safety reasons or immediately after the event. No admission or re-admission is permitted after the end of the event. Neither the DED or its agents shall be liable for any injury or accident whatsoever to the patron or his guest nor for any loss or damage to, or theft of property however such injury, loss or damage may be caused (whether by the negligence of the DED or its employees or otherwise), provided always that this exclusion of liability shall not apply in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the DED or its agents or for which it is legally responsible.
