Payments/ Credit Card Charges information
All Visa Credit and Mastercard's are subject to a 2% charge, American Express 3% while there is no charge on Debit cards.
Passenger Protection Insurance for Package Holidays
In accordance with "The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992" all passengers booking package holiday arrangements with Regency Travel Limited are fully Insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Regency Travel Limited.
Passenger names and advance passenger information
It is essential that the name you provide at the time of booking conforms to that on your passport. Airlines are unlikely to allow any subsequent name change after ticketing without a very substantial financial penalty.
It is essential that a mobile phone contact number for the Lead passenger is provided to Regency Travel at time of booking. Without this information, assistance with weather related cancellations, delays or re-booking cannot be effectively provided.
Information when traveling by Sea
You are required to check in for sailings 1 hour 30 minutes prior to your departure time during the Isle of Man TT & Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT. If you are traveling outside of the Isle of Man TT you are requested to be checked in 1 hour prior to your departure time. Regency Travel are unable to accept any liability if you miss your sailing as a result of your late check-in.
Photographic I.D. such as a Passport or Driving Licence (UK nationals only) is required at check-in.
If you are traveling with a vehicle other than a motorbike it is imperative that you have the full length, width and height information ready at the time of booking. Vans can be classed as commercial vehicles after 6.5 meters in length.
Information when traveling by Air
You are requested to check in for your flight at least one hour prior to your departure time when traveling within the United Kingdom or Ireland. If you are traveling to Europe or further a field then you must check-in 2 hours prior to your departure time. Regency Travel are unable to accept any liability if you miss your flight as a result of you checking in late.
It is imperative that all passengers hold a valid Passport and that relevant Visa's are sourced before entering the UK or when traveling outside the UK. For more information on passports and Visa's please visit www.ukpa.gov.uk.
Generally speaking, on economy flights the baggage allowance is 20kg. Luggage allowances and permitted items vary from airline to airline and we recommend that you check the luggage policy of the airline(s) with which you are flying or ask us for further details. Any excess luggage will be charged at the discretion of the airline.
Accommodation Check in/ Check out times
Check-in and check-out times may vary from hotel to hotel. It is not unusual for the former to be 1400 hours and the latter to be 1100 hours. Generally speaking hotels will attempt to accommodate early arrivals or late departures but this is not always possible. Should you wish to have access to your room for an extended period then a local charge is likely to be applied. If you are scheduled to arrive in the early morning and would like immediate access to your accommodation, we recommend that you book and pay for an additional night at the time of booking.
Please note that when a hotel description states a 'sea view ' then this may in fact only be a partial or restricted view. Triple rooms: please note the third bed in a room may be a rollaway extra bed.
Flight schedule changes
Regrettably airlines occasionally change their flight schedules. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any such changes made after the time of booking.
We will do our utmost to ensure that any special requests or special needs you may have are satisfied, whether they relate to the travel by air or sea or your accommodation. Such requests must be made in writing. However, please appreciate that they are merely 'requests' and therefore cannot be guaranteed..
Our staff will do their utmost to advise which accommodation is most suited to disabled guests, but we will not be held liable in the event that the correct apparatus and necessary modifications are not in place. To assist us, we would ask that you provide your specific requirements at, or prior to the booking stage.
