The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company operates IOMTT ferry services to the Isle of Man from Heysham (near Lancaster), Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast and during the busy TT period from Larne.
Choose between the conventional ferry, the Ben-my-Chree, which operates all year from Heysham, Dublin and Belfast or the fast craft, Manannan, which runs between March and November from Liverpool, Heysham, Dublin and Belfast.
You'll dock at the Sea Terminal in Douglas, the Island's capital, where you'll find car hire terminals as well as a taxi rank and the main Douglas bus station just outside.
On board both ships you'll find shops, cafes and bars as well as premium and executive lounges if you are looking to travel in style. Pets are also allowed on some ferry services.

Flying into UK and Ireland by air then sailing to the Isle of Man
If you plan to travel by sea and are coming from further a field such as America or Australia then please find some useful information below.
Traveling from London Heathrow or London - If you plan to arrive in London Heathrow the quickest way to get to the island would be to travel to London Gatwick airport and then fly directly to the Isle of Man. There is no direct link between Heathrow and the Isle of Man.
Alternatively you would need to travel using the London Underground to London Euston Station before boarding a Virgin Train to Liverpool Lime Street or for Heysham Port you would need to travel to Lancaster and then a taxi to Heysham Port. The journey from London to Liverpool will take up to 4 hours by train and another 2 hours to Heysham.
Flying into Manchester Airport and then onto the Isle of Man by Sea - Flying into Manchester airport is the easiest way to get to Liverpool or Heysham.
Within Manchester airport there is a train station that you can get a train to Liverpool Lime Street Station station via Manchester Piccadilly station, journey time to Liverpool is 1 hour 40 minutes.
Traveling to Heysham does take a little longer and you can get a train from Manchester Airport changing at Preston or Manchester Piccadilly. Journeys can take from 1 hour 40 minutes up to 2 hours.
Flying into Ireland and then onto the Isle of Man by Sea - We dont advise flying into Ireland and then onto the Isle of Man by sea.
You are able to do this but the sailings are not that frequent as they are when sailing from Liverpool or Heysham. Ferries depart Ireland from Dublin every Tuesday while departing Belfast and Larne in Northern Ireland a couple of times a week.
