Isle of Man Sea Terminal

The Isle of Man's Sea Terminal is located in the islands capital Douglas on the south end of Douglas promenade.

Inside the terminal you will find shops such as WHSmith and Costa Coffee the Isle of Man governments welcome centre (tourist information) can also be found here.

Traveling from the Isle of Man Sea Terminal

You can pre-book a taxi with Regency Travel as part of a package or a taxi rank is located just outside the airport, a taxi to Douglas will cost around £30 each way.

Public transport is readily available from outside the terminal building with a bus service every 20 minutes to Douglas, Castletown. Roughly a one way service from the airport takes around 20 minutes to Douglas and costs £3.00.

If you are travelling on foot many of the islands hotels are located just minutes walk along Douglas promenade or if you are travelling around the island then Douglas bus station is also located within a 2 minute walk from the sea terminals main exit. A taxi rank is located outside the main entrance but its advised that you pre book before arriving.

When travelling with a vehicle you can access the whole island easily as the terminal is the starting point of the islands main roads.

You can sail to the island from Heysham and Liverpool in England, Dublin is Southern Ireland or Belfast and Larne in Northern Ireland. For more infomation on getting to the island by sea click here.

Isle of Man Airport

The islands airport also known as Ronaldsway Airport is located in the South of the island near to Castletown and just 20 minutes by bus from Douglas. 

The airport can easily be accessed island wide and is the islands gateway for passengers traveliing from accross the world. 

You can fly from the major English airports such as Manchester & London Gatwick or from Irish hubs such as Dublin in less that one hour. For more information on getting to the island by air click here for our guide.
