How to get to the Isle of Man by sea
The Isle of Man only has one ferry company that operates sailings from Liverpool and Heysham in England or Belfast and Dublin in Ireland.
This Isle of Man ferry operator is called the Isle of Man Steam Packet.
Sailings to the Isle of Man are daily from Liverpool and Heysham while sailings from the Irish ports of Dublin and Belfast are less frequent, these are more like every other day.
How to get to the Isle of Man by Air
The Isle of Man is well connected to major airports in the UK and Ireland, where you will find onward connections to airports around the world.
Flying to the Isle of Man and especially to the Isle of Man TT is becoming more popular.
Airlines such as British Airways, Easyjet, Flybe and Aer Lingus operator very frequent flights to major airports such as London Gatwick, Manchester, Dublin and London City.
Flying to the Isle of Man takes around 1 hour from London or just 30 minutes from Manchester.
You can also fly from smaller airports around the UK and Ireland with other airlines such as Isle of Man based Citywing who operate to Belfast City, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow, and Cheltenham.
