So what is Isle of Man TT Glamping?
Glamping is housed in a large 5 meter bell tent which can sleep up to 4 people, each tent comes with real wooden beds with mattresses, duvets, pillows, carpeted floors and little extras such as tent lights.
It's more like a hotel style option with a reception area and someone on site to help with any of your needs.
To make the experience more comfortable each handpicked site is exclusive to Blue Bell Tents. Both sites located in Colby and Union Mills are on football and rugby clubs of which are modern and have the best facilities on the island.
Colby is located in the south of the island near to Port Erin with its bars, cafes, shops and supermarket it can be easily accessible if you are traveling on foot. On site you will also find Colby station which you can get the Steam Train to Douglas or Port Erin via Castletown and the airport.
The site at Colby is Blue Bell's premier site, just minutes out of the sites gate you will find a local shop and pub which serves meals into the evening.
New for TT 2016 is the site on the outskirts of Douglas located at Vagabonds rugby club and is again a new sports facility. The site is located next to the islands hospital meaning regular bus services to Douglas, it's around 30 to 45 minutes walk to the nearest location on the TT course to watch the racing.
The nearest shop and pub located at Union Mills on the TT course is around 45 to 60 minutes walk.
As both sites are on football clubs you have full access to the clubhouse which serve breakfast in the morning and show TT highlights in the evening. At Colby newly installed WiFI can be picked up in your tent!
Both sites can be accessed 24/7 as the sites are located outside the TT course, so even when roads are closed for practice or racing you can still get to your tent.
Tents are available from Friday 03 June to Saturday 11 June 2016, 4 night stays from Friday 03 June or Tuesday 07 June are available while 8 nights stays from Friday 03 June can be booked. Blue Bell can be flexible with the arrival and departure dates so contact us to see if you can add extra nights to your stay before 03 June or after 11 June 2016.
